ABC Global Alliance events

ABC7 will be followed by the ABC Global Alliance meeting and General Assembly on Saturday 11 November (tentative time: 14:30-17:30).

Sunday 12 November, 09:00-13:00 (time to be confirmed)

The fist activity of the ABC Global Alliance was the creation of the ABC Global Charter that is a comprehensive needs assessment of the advanced breast cancer field and determines 10 concrete and tangible objectives for the current decade, in the various areas that impact the lives of ABC patients.
It has been developed to unite the ABC community to drive action and help us all work together towards common and achievable goals.

The ABC Global Charter addresses gaps in care, access to resources and support, and treatment outcomes for patients with ABC, as identified in the Global Status of Advanced/ Metastatic Breast Cancer 2005-2015 Decade Report.

In 2025, to mark a decade since the initial needs assessment, the ABC Global Alliance plan to relaunch the charter with updated goals, in order to continue to drive change in ABC.
To introduce the plan for the relaunch of the ABC Global Charter and discuss initial ideas for its update, the ABC Global Alliance will be holding a half-day working session on Sunday November 12th, from 09:00 to 13:00 WEST (tentative time) in Lisbon, Portugal.
The session will be open to all in-person attendees of the ABC7 conference in Lisbon and we'd love for you to attend.
