The world’s only international consensus conference on how - and why - to treat and care for women and men with advanced breast cancer met for the fifth time in Lisbon, Portugal, in November 2019, at ABC5. Around 1,500 healthcare professionals - oncologists, surgeons, nurses and more, plus many patient advocates - from 94 countries heard about the state of the art in treatment and care, before an expert panel updated the international guidelines previously developed at ABC1, ABC2, ABC3 and ABC4.
